GRUNDTVIG walk
Our GRUNDTVIG walk was organised by the Portuguese partners for
parents and students participating in the LIFE project.
Everyone walked about 12 Km, from the shores of Ovil
river, one of the rivers that flows in the Baião municipality, until the oak
forest of Reixela, one of the last authoctonous
oak forests in Europe.
In the forest a picnic and a set of games and
physical activities in the open air were organised and everyone joined in.
This activity brought, again, families closer together, since parents and children shared a number of outdoor activities that also raised environmental awareness.
Again, kids and teenagers were taken away from TVs and computers and learnt that activities within nature can also be fun...
